DAMPAK KETERBATASAN SARANA PRASARANA DAN KURANGNYA MURID TERHADAP MINAT BELAJAR SISWA DI SMP AL-ISLAMIYAH, MEDAN TEMBUNG

Abstract

This research investigates the impact of limited facilities and infrastructure, as well as the low number of students on students’ interest in learning at Al-Islamiyah Middle School, Medan Tembung. The aim of this study is to understand the definition, types, objectives and principles of facilities and infrastructure, as well as examine the meaning, form and function of interest in learning among students. This research uses a qualitative research method with a field approach, where qualitative research is carried out to produce data in the form of written or spoken words from individuals and their behavior, which will describe the facts found in the field. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews and documentation. In addition, this research is supported by a literature review which involves reading various books, journals and other publications that are relevant to the topic under study. The results of the research show that limited facilities and infrastructure at Al-Islamiyah Medan Tembung Middle School contribute to obstacles that reduce students’ interest in learning, which ultimately has a negative impact on their academic achievement which is not yet optimal.
